Gift Box Terms of Use

1. About Gift Box

Gift Box is a web application for creating and sharing a list of gifts you would like to receive (a “wishlist”).

The Gift Box service is jointly provided by:

Gift Box is free to use in its MVP version.

2. Registration

To create an account, the user provides a name, email address, and password, and verifies their email address.

Gift Box is intended for people aged 18 or over. By registering, the user confirms that they meet this requirement and that the information they provide is accurate.

The user is responsible for keeping their account credentials secure and must not share their password with other people.

3. Acceptance of the terms

When registering, the user accepts these Terms of Use and confirms that they have read the Privacy Policy.

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy in effect on the date the account is created apply.

4. Wishlist and public link

Each user has one overall wishlist and one public link to it.

Each wish may include:

• a name or title;
• a description;
• a product link;
• an optional category.

The public page displays “{name}’s wishlist” and the wishes added to it. The email address, login credentials, and other non-public account information are not displayed.

Anyone with the public link can open the list and share the link with other people. The user should only add information they agree to make visible in this way.

5. Responsibility for content

The user is responsible for the content of their wishlist and must not publish unlawful content or other people’s personal data without a valid basis.

Product links lead to external websites. Gift Box does not control their content, availability, prices, or terms.

6. Service availability

Gift Box strives to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability without temporary outages, technical issues, or maintenance.

7. Account deletion

The user may request deletion of their account and associated data through the official Gift Box contact email address.

8. Changes

These Terms of Use may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. The date of the latest update is stated at the beginning of this document.

9. Applicable law

Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and European Union law. These terms do not limit the rights granted to users by law.
